Bright Pixel in €26 million investment round for French cybersecurity company Sekoia
Portugal’s Sonae, through its venture capital arm Bright Pixel, has increased its investment in the French cybersecurity startup Sekoia, co-investing €26 million.
“As partners of Sekoia.io since 2023, having co-led the Series A investment round, we are proud to participate in this new investment and contribute to its growth, seeking to help them scale their cybersecurity solutions and expand into new markets,” said Fernando Jorge Martins, chief cybersecurity officer at Bright Pixel.
The €26 million Series B round was led by Revaia, with the participation of investors UNEXO, Omnes Capital and Bpifrance, and brings the total financing of the French startup to €60 million since its foundation.
Based in four European countries, sekoia.io has over 100 staff and around 50 Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP) with EDF, Vinci, Marlink and the French armed forces among its clients.
