MIPIM Awards 2025: EntreCampos wins ‘Best New Mega Development’
Fidelidade Property won the “Best New Mega Development” award at the MIPIM Awards 2025 with the EntreCampos project in Lisbon. The awards distinguish the most innovative, sustainable and impactful real estate projects in the industry. The winners were announced this Thursday at MIPIM, an annual international real estate fair that ran between March 11 to 14 in Cannes, France.
Altogether, there were 10 categories in the competition, with Fidelidade Property’s venture being the only Portuguese finalist. This distinction reinforces the importance of EntreCampos, both in Portugal, where it is affirmed as a large-scale urban project, and on the international panorama, positioning itself among the most innovative projects globally.
In the category ‘Best New Mega Development’, apart from the Portuguese project there were three international developments: Shenzhen Construction Industry Ecological & Intelligent Valley Headquarters, in Shenzhen (China); Sultan Haitham City, in Muscat (Oman); and Towarowa22, in Warsaw (Poland). Another Iberian project also made it onto the list of the finalists at the MIPIM Awards: the Railway Integration Project, in the Spanish city of Logroño, in the category of ‘Best Urban Regeneration Project’.
EntreCampos is one of the largest urban regeneration projects in the city of Lisbon in recent decades, creating an entirely new neighbourhood in the city on a former fairground site close to the Entrecampos railway and metro station. It will feature offices – including there new HQ of insurer Fidelidade, residential housing, shops, cafés, restaurants and small urban parks. Construction is already underway, and the commercialisation phase is slated to begin shortly.
The MIPIM Awards were created several years ago as part of what is widely recognised as the largest and most international real estate fair in Europe, and is also one of the most prestigious events in the real estate industry globally. The awards aim to recognise the best real estate projects around the world.
