UK Department of Business and Trade at the British Embassy and London & Partners sign agreement with Unicorn Factory
The British Embassy’s Department of Business and Trade and London & Partners have signed an agreement with Lisbon’s Unicorn Factory.
Signed last week, the collaboration underscores the power of partnership and the work that Unicorn Factory Lisboa is doing to foster the Portuguese tech ecosystem.

“While we celebrate this milestone, it is important to note that London and the UK remain the leading tech hub in Europe. Our vibrant ecosystem, supported by a rich talent pool, robust infrastructure, and a thriving investment landscape, continues to set the standard for technological advancement and entrepreneurial success.”
And added: “We want to supercharge business growth between Lisbon and London and the wider UK by building a dynamic innovation corridor and creating global opportunities for entrepreneurs.”

“This partnership aims to leverage the strengths of both organisations to create a dynamic ecosystem that fosters innovation, accelerates business growth, and enhances global competitiveness”.
Under the terms of the MOU, DBT, London & Partners and Unicorn Factory Lisboa will work together to promote cross-border collaboration by facilitating the exchange of ideas and expertise with local advisory, support startup growth through the access to mentorship, funding, and networking opportunities, develop joint programmes and initiatives that drive technological advancements and innovative solutions, and contribute to the economic growth of both regions by supporting the creation of high-value jobs and attracting investment.
