AKV acquires Pixel Light bolsters position in Portugal’s audiovisual sector

AVK has acquired Pixel Light, in a strategic acquisition that marks a decisive step in consolidating its leadership in the audiovisual sector in Portugal.

“This acquisition, which will mark the future of audiovisuals, is part of the company’s sustained growth strategy, expanding its presence in the main market segments and reinforcing its ability to respond to all the technical needs of the sector”, it said in a communiqué.

The operation is part of a logic of complementarity and synergy between two reference companies, allowing AVK to diversify its activity in segments in which, until now, it had a less expressive presence, such as in musical shows, entertainment and television.

With this integration, the AVK-ONE group, which also includes Euroservice, Global Setup and AVK will unite over 300 highly qualified professionals, some of them with more than 35 years of experience in the market, with equipment distributed in over 60,000 square metres of premises in Lisbon, Porto, Algarve, and Galiza.
