Portuguese real estate investment and management company prepares stock market listing

The Portuguese real estate investment fund and management company Vila dos Números is preparing to float on Lisbon’s stock market, Euronext Lisbon this week by issuing 50,000 direct shares at an initial listing of €120.

The REIT (SIGI) is expected to launch tomorrow (25 June) on the Euronext Access market – a multilateral trading system – at a time when Euronext is planning its first Capital Markets Day on 28 June. The 50,000 shares represent 100% of the SIGI’s subscribed capital.

Currently, the sole shareholder is Léxico SGPS, but the SIGI regime obliges companies companies to be stock market listed.

There are other companies of this type trading in Lisbon. In April last year Atrium Bire became the second SIGI (from Sonae and Bankinter) to begin trading on Euronext Access. In June 2020 the same shareholders floated Olimpo Real Estate Portugal, SIGI (ORES Portugal) on Euronext Lisbon.

Vila dos Numero was founded in 2010. It is led by Cláudia Leal and became a SIGI in December 2022.

“The aim of this investment management company is to increase its capital in the medium to long term by setting up and managing a portfolio of mostly real estate assets.

The properties that the company had already acquired with its own funds included assets in Campo de Ourique (Lisbon), Oeiras, Cascais, Faro, Boliqueime and São Brás de Alportel.

As to the acquisition of new properties, the company is looking at various investments in the centre of Lisbon and in other parts of the country.
